MyRoar is a Silicon Valley–based startup in the enterprise search space that provides question answering search of unstructured text. Though it can be applied to a variety of vertical markets, it is targeted initially at the $4.2 billion financial services search market. It can be used by financial institutions and research vendors alike, on proprietary or subscrip-tion content. The MyRoar search engine is built using state of the art natural language processing technologies—dependency parser, named entity recognition, anaphora resolution, and ontology-driven query expansion, among others—and it has the highest level of search precision in its space. The MyRoar development team includes PhD computational linguists with years of experience developing award-winning question answering systems, and it is led by executives with deep experience developing and selling natural language solutions, as well as working within the financial services industry.
