My z Wami Foundation

Humanitarian Aid Center in Shehyni was created during first days of war in Ukraine in 2022. It is growing very quickly at the same time opening itself for wider support options. It all started with spontaneous transport of medical goods arranged by group of friends - Marta Górecka, Wojtek Górecki, Marta Deutchman, Piotr Deutschman and Marcin Kowalski. Very soon after they realised they can do much more and they all think strategically, which means they would like to start long-term activities. Just few days later a town of 11 tents have been set up including catering facilities, field hospital, first aid point and resting area. The center is located at the Ukrainian side of the border, where the majority of other humanitarian organisations cannot operate. We can work and develop owing to extensive support of many companies and volunteers - medical doctors, pharmacists, translators, psychologists and lawyers. We have managed to build a lot and to help for thousands of people in need. However, we face more and more challenges! We are expanding the activities to other regions of Ukraine, arriving there regularly with humanitarian transports. We promise not to become complacent and to keep on going!
