L’azienda MZ PROJECT nasce nel 1987 da un’idea dei due soci Mazzola e Zappa, che avendo maturato una notevole esperienza internazionale nel settore della macchina per la lavorazione del legno, hanno avuto l’intuizione di aprire un mercato quasi inesplorato dove regnavano antiche metodologie di lavoro. Le macchine MZ PROJECT sono destinate ad una clientela molto varia: dal piccolo artigiano alla grande industria, dalla segheria al fabbricante di sedie o di mobili, dovunque vi sia un componente in legno massiccio diritto o sagomato. I successi e l’esperienza accumulati negli anni hanno permesso di ampliare il campo operativo delle macchine già esistenti uscendo dalla tradizionale produzione delle sedie. I materiali che vengono oggi lavorati con le macchine MZ PROJECT non si limitano più al legno massiccio ma comprendono sughero, plastica, alluminio, MDF, truciolari, fibre e materiali compositi.
MZ PROJECT was formed as a company in 1987, the brainchild of the two partners Mazzola e Zappa who, having gained considerable international experience in the field of woodworking machinery, had the insight to start up in an almost uncharted market, where traditional ways of working were prevalent. So Mazzola and Zappa decided to combine their respective business and technical skills and bring the technology of pattern cutting up to date with increasingly automated machines. MZ PROJECT machines are intended for a very varied customer base, from small craftsmen to major industries and from sawmills to chair or furniture manufacturers, wherever there is a solid wood component, be it straight or contoured. The achievements and experience accumulated over the years have enabled us to extend the operating range of the existing machines, moving away from traditional methods of chair manufacture. The materials handled today with MZ PROJECT machines are no longer limited to solid wood but include cork, plastic, aluminium, MDF, particle board, fibreboard and composite materials.
