Nascent Art Kindles Emotion and Desire (NAKED) was established in New Jersey, March 2008, by Maren Friedman and Sheldon Channer to market and commercialize digital photographic art and Poimatry™. Poimatry™ is the only way to really "see" and experience poetry. The company officially launched Poimatry™ in March 2009, but did not start marketing Poimatry™ until February 2011. The company has been successfully commercializing digital photographic art since summer 2008 and has been publishing poetry since May 2009. The company is currently marketing over 500 digital images, one Chapbook of poetry, Loved and Lost, and 8 Poimatry™.
