Dutch company Naaais has developed a collection of fire blankets that look completely different from the usual ones. There is a reason for this: people are reluctant to hang a menacing, signal-red fire extinguisher in the kitchen, next to the fireplace or in the bedroom. Whereas, with the huge growth of electronic devices per household, the risk of fire has increased considerably in recent decades. Chargers of laptops, tablets, phones and other devices can spontaneously ignite when short-circuited or overheated. This calls for a different strategy to make people aware of buying fire blankets: making the blankets more attractive.
Of course, it is important that the fire blankets are simply of the best quality in addition to being beautiful, and these blankets are. They comply with the latest European standards and are big enough to extinguish anything you hold dear.
