Naaro

Naaro is a photography & creative direction studio focused on crafting inspiring visual narratives of innovative architecture & design around the world. We believe that every project is unique and adapt our creative approach and storytelling techniques to the distinctiveness of each individual project to bring out its characteristics at its best. This could be either through striking photography, moving images, digital experiences such as AR, or through a combination of them. Naaro’s vision is the result of founders Freya Najade and Marcela Spadaro’s combined expertise. Freya is an award-winning photographer whose strength lies within the documentation of the social and built environments. Marcela trained as an architect and prior to co-founding Naaro, worked for over 10 years at the forefront of innovative architecture with Zaha Hadid Architects. Freya and Marcela’s complementary skills and unique combination of backgrounds allow them to approach each project in new creative multifaceted ways. Publishers & Publications featuring Naaro’s photographs include: The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Thames & Hudson, Phaidon, Domus, Wallpaper, ICON, Architectural Digest, GA, Elle Decoration & Surface Magazine, among others. Freya and Marcela teach architectural photography at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
