Naath Community Development Organization

Naath Community Development Organization, NCDO is a community based organization, registered with government of Ethiopia, (Gambella Wareda). It's none political and none profitable organization. NCDO is formed by the community of Gambella to search, meditate and analyze over the worsening situation of the undermined development of the community of Gambella who are living almost under Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) status in Gambella Region as well thinks to intervene in the assistance of the Refugees and Returnees in the Region. This community based agency is initiated innovatively to sensitize community on the dangers of HIV/AIDS, dangers of communal transmitting diseases, WATSAN, physical and environmental health development, promotion of gender equality, posting awareness on dangers of gender based violence, orphanage care, parental and Rental health, education of both children, adolescent ages and adults, food security and livelihoods, generation of assets and livelihoods recovery. The agency obviously aims on peace building and creation of peace living coexistence, creation of jobs and job opportunities for the most vulnerable and job seeking idol youths, widows and unaccompanied women and children provision of vocational trainings for the unprivileged and illiterate community members to pave employment opportunities and compete in the labor job markets. The organization aims to acquire financial empowerment to accomplish its envisioned activities from charitable donors, government, companies of both public and privates etc.
