The National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals Minnesota (NABIP MN) – formerly known as the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters (MAHU) – was established in 1937. NABIP MN is a non-profit, professional association whose membership is comprised primarily of professional health, Life, and disability insurance agents, brokers, carriers, and third-party administrator representatives.
NABIP MN is a state chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals – formerly known as the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), which is located in Arlington, VA. Members participate in state and federal legislative and public policy development that is of mutual interest to our clients, the consuming public, our membership, and to our industry. NABIP also offer programs for professional development and education to our membership and the greater community.
NABIP MN conducts monthly member meetings with Continuing Education Credits, MN Day on the Hill, annual benefits conference, annual Medicare summit, social events, and more. The Board of Directors meets monthly throughout the year.
NABIP MN’s Mission: To promote and support a collaborative association of insurance professionals, focused on securing long-term private sector health and benefits solutions through legislation, professional development, and consumer advocacy.
