Nada India started working in India under the leadership of Suneel Vatsyayan a practicing social worker in 2001. The sole objective of the organization was to promote inclusive non-pharmacological approaches and methods like Acudetox, peer counseling for protection and recovery. Nada India advocates for balanced and healthy public policies to prevent, control non-communicable diseases, child friendly, gender sensitive and drug free healthy life style. " Nada India Foundation is a pool of community initiatives (registered as well as informal initiatives). This network strives to develop an empowered leadership and healthy choices amongst marginalized and vulnerable populations especially adolescents, women & senior citizens.
