NADE - The National Association Of Disabled's Enterprises

The National Association of Disabled's Enterprises (NADE) is a nationally recognized Non-Governmental Organization committed to empowering disabled individuals across India. Our primary goal is to facilitate Vocational Training, Employment, Self-Employment, and Welfare opportunities for the visually impaired, hearing impaired, orthopaedically challenged, and persons with intellectual disabilities. Our vision is to eliminate poverty and unemployment within the disabled community. We achieve this by offering specialized training and employment opportunities tailored to each individual's ability. Our diverse projects include Umbrella manufacturing, Raincoat Manufacturing, Garments manufacturing, Handicrafts and Contract jobs in switch assembly and tailoring. These projects are conducted through the Indian Disabled's Service Cooperative Society Limited, a workers' cooperative society dedicated to manufacturing, service contracts and trading activities exclusively for the disabled. All profits earned out of such sales of products and services are utilised 100% for the benefit of the work force i.e. persons with disabilities. In addition to our vocational efforts, NADE also undertakes welfare initiatives, such as distributing free food items like pulses, grains, and oil to disadvantaged disabled individuals in Maharashtra during festive seasons like Diwali and providing free medical consultancy on a weekly basis.
