The National Alliance of Environmental Specialists Insurance Program (NAESIP) provides pollution coverage for both environmental and non-environmental businesses.
Our only focus is on environmental and pollution. A business is either on its site, on a job site, or in transit – we cover all three. We are in the top 20 wholesale niche brokers in the country who specialize in environmental insurance.
For many facilities, general liability coverage is not enough if the materials the company is using can potentially pollute the work site or job site. There are thousands of businesses that should have pollution coverage and don’t. We have found that 7 out of 10 accounts that we review have coverage issues from being underinsured to having the wrong coverage for a specific industry
More than 60 percent of our insureds are not environmentally related - from condos and country clubs to schools and garages.
These organizations often do not realize they have a risk and need pollution coverage because their GL coverage includes an absolute pollution exclusion. We typically place the primary (GL, Pollution and Professional) plus the excess and our agents write their property, inland marine, auto and workers comp with their more traditional markets.
