Nafasi | where trust meets opportunity

Nafasi is a global social enterprise supporting African entrepreneurs and their enterprises to scale for income, impact and youth employment by providing mentoring and funding. Nafasi is a Swahili name rich in meanings. Nafasi means Opportunity, Change, and Space. Our vision is to support the delivery of GOAL 8 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals on ‘decent work and economic growth’ with a focus on Africa tech entrepreneurs whom we see as ‘change makers’ ; leaders and shapers of Africa’s future. Our Vision is to unlock the opportunity in African entrepreneurship in universities and business hubs around Africa (approx 1,500 tech hubs in situ) to achieve employment and economic growth with the capacity in the global north to provide mentoring and funding. Nafasi’s platform will provide a trusted market place for entrepreneurs to match up with investors in the Global North who are interested in supporting and investing in the tech industry in Africa and also provide mentoring e.g. task mentoring or leadership mentoring for those with limited resources and time.
