The Association supports members in growing a sustainable and trusted funeral planning market for consumers by combining and sharing market insights. Almost all FCA authorised providers are members of the NAFPP. We ensure all members’ voices are heard, by presenting a representative industry voice when engaging with regulators and external stakeholders. By fostering collaboration and networking opportunities for members through seminars, and forums where industry professionals share insights, exchange ideas, and work together we enable the development of initiatives that benefit the consumer and the entire sector. With the input of the FCA we assist members to create innovative models that improve customer experiences and deliver the benefits and protections of a regulated market. Our remit is to build productive working relationships with key agencies including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The Association publishes aggregated market figures and shares combined sector performance data to raise awareness of areas of risk or potential consumer detriment in the market. Our website www.nafpp.org provides relevant resources to allow customers to access industry information, trace a plan or contact a member company. Through interaction with the media we raise public awareness of the sector ensuring consumers understand all the funeral planning options available to them and can recognise the unique advantages that differentiate pre-paid funeral plans from other forms of financial product used fund future funerals.
