Nahda Fund

Nahda Fund is the world's first Waqf Venture Capital Fund WVC of $40.00M pool under construction targeting Entrepreneurs in MENA region from concept, pre-seed, seed stage to Series A Investments. The name "Nahda" is derived from the Arabic word that means renaissance and prosperity, being a Waqf fund (i.e. a nonprofit VC fund) will make funding available to a large unserved segment of entrepreneurs therefore bypassing catch22 dilemma in risk mitigation entrepreneurs and VCs are facing alike especially in very early stages of financing. By addressing the gap and scarcity of funding in the MENA region, Nahda Fund's vision is to become the platform and growth catalyst for budding entrepreneurs in the MENA region .
