De Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij BV (NAM) houdt zich sinds 1947 bezig met de opsporing en winning van aardgas en aardolie uit Nederlandse bodem. NAM concentreert zich enerzijds op het onderhouden van bestaande locaties en het optimaal benutten van de bestaande velden.
