Nama Electricity Generation

Nama Electricity Generation Company is a member of the Nama Group and is a closed Omani joint-stock company registered under the Commercial Companies Law of the Sultanate of Oman. The company primarily engages in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, supply, and desalination activities under a license issued by the Authority for Electricity Regulation, Oman, demonstrating a vertically integrated business model. Nama Electricity Generation Company commenced its operations on May 1, 2005, following the implementation of a decision by the Ministry of National Economy pursuant to the Regulation and Privatization of the Electricity and Related Water Sector law promulgated by Royal Decree 78/2004.
