Nancy Hamilton Consulting

Hamilton spent two decades working in both the private and public sectors before arriving in Portland in 1998. After moving to Portland, Nancy worked in advertising and public relations before serving as campaign manager of the Children's Initiative, and also helped pass Measure 26-48, which provided critical funding for area schools. In 2004, after leading a successful mayoral campaign for Tom Potter, she served for 2 ½ years as his Chief of Staff. Nancy then moved to the Governor’s office, where she served as his senior policy advisor for economic development and workforce. Her latest endeavor was back in the private sector with McKinstry in Oregon, where she worked on helping Oregon’s built environment to operate more efficiently, save energy and reduce our carbon footprint. Nancy Hamilton Consulting is certified in Oregon as both an Emerging Small Business (ESB) and as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE).
