Founded in 2017 in the city of Ouro Branco, Minas Gerais, NanoPack is a company that works with packaging technology for post-harvest fruits bringing the differential of nanotechnology. NanoPack was born out of the desire to remedy the great economic losses due to the rapid maturation of the fruits in the post-harvest preventing a significant part of the production from being exported. In addition, it has the desire to increase domestic consumption, avoiding conservation problems for producers, distributors and traders. Based on biopolymer associated with nanostructures, Nanopack aims to revolutionize the market by bringing biodegradable components and inputs authorized for use in food, resulting in a coating capable of increasing the shelf life of the fruit by up to 100%.
