Narcotics Awareness Program Of Ohio company information, Employees & Contact Information

Narcotics Awareness Program of Ohio is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization aiming to reduce opiate overdose-related deaths in Ohio by increasing the supply of Narcan, an opioid overdose reversal agent, and by increasing awareness regarding the dangers of substance use. Initially founded in 2020 as Get Narcan Ohio, NAP Ohio aimed to combat the sharp increase in opiate-related deaths caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. NAP Ohio has since pivoted to focus on preventing overdose-related deaths and general harm reduction in high-risk areas such as college campuses and urban areas. Since its incorporation, NAP Ohio has successfully registered as a Project DAWN opioid overdose education and naloxone distribution program (OENDP) and has received funding from the Ohio Department of Health to increase the supply of Naloxone, a potentially life-saving drug that is used for the emergency treatment of a suspected opioid overdose. We at NAP Ohio hope to increase the supply of Naloxone through various means, including in-person distribution sites, an online ordering program, and more.
