Edinburgh Napier Engineering Society (NES) is an academic organisation run by students. The society is open to everyone, but with a particular focus on students studying STEM subjects.
As a society, it is our focus to make sure that STEM students at Napier have the best possible time at uni, giving students as many opportunities as possible to network, collaborate and socialise with like minded students.
Here at NES, we aspire to connect academia and industry, through hosting events and creating networking links to industry. In 2020/21, we hosted various online industry/research talks from the optimisation of solid oxide fuel cells to wind energy systems.
