Narayan Bhargava Foundation (NBF) was incepted in the year 1985. The CSR arm of the prominent Narayan Bhargava Group is engaged in a variety of initiatives pertaining to education and employability that benefit society as a whole. The trust envisions education as the key enabler of growth and transformation in society and also works to uplift, rehabilitate and recognize the socially underprivileged groups living amidst the general population. Mr. Narayan Bhargava, the Chairman, Narayan Bhargava Group, has been engaged in philanthropic activities for 35+ years on a moderate scale, such as supplying food, clothing, and medicine, as well as organizing blood donations and medical camps. Today, the Narayan Bhargava Foundation (NBF), formerly known as the Bhargava Charitable Trust (BCT), consists of a dedicated team of social warriors carrying out the mission of connecting education to endless possibilities at different regions and leading from the front to bring true change in the society. The recent CSR projects of the foundation include supporting and empowering economically weaker and differently-abled students with education opportunities, donating books and quality learning resources to schools in villages, and providing monetary support to non-profit organizations. Kalpana Chawla Space Academy (KCSA) - Narayan Bhargava Foundation (NBF), in association with Vidya Niketan Educational Trust, founded Kalpana Chawla Space Academy (KCSA) under it's nation-building mission. KCSA is a first-of-its-kind institution offering space and science-centred education to children, aimed at creating next-generation space scientists for India.
