Narayani River Conclave

Narayani River conclave emphasizes on Conservation of water resources in the Narayani Basin through the increased cross-functional collaboration of different stakeholders. The conclave aims to bring together academicians, policymakers, researchers, and graduates to present their research and review each other’s work and share their experience on regulating water recycling utilization, reuse, regulating water flows, setting up efficient institutional mechanisms, and strengthening the basin management offices, upstream-downstream linkages, and implementing technological improvements such as wastewater treatment, water harvesting, and downscaling the climate change scenarios at the local and watersheds level. The Narayani River conclave will act as a podium to discuss identified policy and institutional settings, watershed management components, wetland conservation, watershed management programs, activities related to community mobilization, capacity development, livelihood improvement, and other components formulated through a collective action plan. Besides, the conclave also provides the opportunity for networking among experts and professionals.
