Both Joe and John emigrated from their homelands in Europe and established landholdings in South Australia, and did not meet each other until Joe’s daughter met John’s son and the families became united in marriage. The eldest sons of the Nardone and Baker families, Frank Nardone and Patrick Baker, represent the second generation of winemakers. Together, as brothers-in-law, they are continuing the Nardone Baker family tradition of producing premium quality wines from grapes grown in some of the best wine growing regions in the world. A modern-day and business-like approach to the wine business has resulted in success in several key markets including The United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and, of course, Australia.
