South Australian Wine Producer
The tradition of Nardone Baker Wines stems back two generations to Joe Nardone and John Baker.
Both Joe and John emigrated from their homelands in Europe and established landholdings in South Australia, and did not meet each other until Joe’s daughter met John’s son and the families became united in marriage.
The eldest sons of the Nardone and Baker families, Frank Nardone and Patrick Baker, represent the second generation of winemakers. Together, as brothers-in-law, they are continuing the Nardone Baker family tradition of producing premium quality wines from grapes grown in some of the best wine growing regions in the world.
A modern-day and business-like approach to the wine business has resulted in success in several key markets including The United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and, of course, Australia.
Through a strong network of specialist growers, Nardone Baker Wines has the luxury of sourcing fruit from the best wine growing regions in Australia. These include McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek and the Lower Murray regions in South Australia.
This broad range of suppliers sets Nardone Baker Wines apart from many other boutique operations. While smaller producers are beholden to the seasonal fluctuations of growing conditions and fruit quality on their small holdings, Nardone Baker Wines can assure its wine making team receives fruit of consistent quality from vintage to vintage.
