The National Atmospheric Resource and Environmental Research Laboratory (NARERL) is the first professor developed and operated autonomous laboratory of the Tribhuvan University. The laboratory is designated for atmospheric and environmental education and research within the framework of Central Department of Physics – the apex body of the university for physics education and research. The NARERL was established in 2008 in the initiatives of Prof. Ram Prasad Regmi, a prominent professor of atmospheric physics, at the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University.
