Näringslivssektionen (NärS)

NärS is a section of the DISK Student Union at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. We act as the bridge between student life and the professional world! NärS works to promote connections with exciting companies that are interested in meeting IT students and helping them build valuable contacts for their future careers. To achieve this, we organize various company events, on-campus meetups, and help companies market themselves to students both physically and through our social media channels. In addition to this, we also organize our own career fair, Systemvetardagen, which is one of Sweden’s largest career fairs for IT students! The fair is attended by around 1,500 students from various universities, and about 50 companies participate — including Ericsson, SEB, Accenture, and Zington.
