A registered educational and social development organization started functioning in 2003, we are engaged with the people of Nallasopara, Thane district, Initiating a community-based development program with a special focus on education and children, the wide range of activities includes health, literacy, & socio-economics Initiatives. NEWT provides quality education and an opportunity to develop natural skills and creative faculties to vulnerable and deprived children of the poor. The program aims to ensure the enrolment of children in mainstream education through a joyful method of learning in a child-friendly environment. An effective linkage will be established with education experts, education institutions engaged in similar activities, in order to promote sharing of ideas and learning from each other. The project is based on the educational philosophy that given equal opportunity and sustained support, vulnerable and deprived children in rural areas will successfully complete academic studies.
