In November 2022, I was presented with two great options. One was to continue my architectural career in a large and international practice in Rotterdam, a city I am familiar with and known for being modern and innovative. The other was to explore a new opportunity in Guernsey, a quintessential Channel Island I had never been to.

Before moving to Guernsey, my art and photography primarily focused on architecture and cityscapes. Since relocating, I have gradually begun to incorporate landscapes into my work.
I use mixed media to express different styles and meanings, with pen and ink, marker pens, oil paints, and watercolours as my favourites. In my 20s, I also experimented with spray paint and charcoal.
