National DNP Week

In 2004, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) made a transformative decision by endorsing the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, elevating advanced nursing practice to new heights. Since then, over 73,000 nurses have earned their DNP, taking the lead in healthcare innovation, improving patient outcomes, and shaping health policy. National DNP Week, created by Dr. Danielle McCamey, honors the incredible contributions of DNP-prepared nurses in clinical practice, education, research, and leadership. It’s a time to recognize their dedication to advancing the nursing profession and shaping the future of healthcare.
