The National Lime Association is the trade association for U.S. and Canadian manufacturers of high calium quicklime, dolomitic quicklime, and hydrated lime, collectively referred to as "lime." NLA's mission is to serve and represent the nation’s lime manufacturers through a united voice to promote the interests and economic well-being of the industry, by working to ensure that legislation, regulations and standards affecting the industry are reasonable, practical and mutually beneficial to the industry and the public; educating the public about the critical role that lime plays in the economy; and helping educate and assist lime producers to understand and comply with applicable environmental, health and safety, and other laws and regulations governing the manufacture of lime.
