The National Synchrotron Programme is a national platform supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to promote and anchor deep capabilities in the use of Synchrotron techniques. The programme office, hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS), brings together all Singapore-based research institutions, agencies and industry into a vibrant ecosystem of Synchrotron related research to advance knowledge, create unique tools and techniques, and develop the talent to light-up Singapore's Synchrotron efforts globally.
The Office promotes Synchrotron access through the local Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS) facility and enables access to overseas facilities through the International Synchrotron Access Programme (ISAP).
Together, these two programmes offer comprehensive access to the full range of local and international state-of-the-art beamline facilities to serve academic and industrial users across the full spectrum of physical and biomedical sciences.
