A division of Acadian Ambulance, the National EMS Academy educates entry level EMTs and Paramedics, and provides continuing education and training for a number of EMS career pathways and collaborate with other organizations with similar interests.
The full-time faculty and staff include 30 members with diverse backgrounds, including prehospital emergency care, medical education, technology, research and support functions. Additional part-time adjunct faculty participate in curricula development and skills training.
Each campus houses administrative offices, classrooms, skills practice and simulation rooms. All of our locations are connected via a video conferencing system, which allows for real-time interaction between learners and faculty specializing in a specific course area and during lectures by visiting experts.
