National EMS Academy

A division of Acadian Ambulance, the National EMS Academy educates entry level EMTs and Paramedics, and provides continuing education and training for a number of EMS career pathways and collaborate with other organizations with similar interests. The full-time faculty and staff include 30 members with diverse backgrounds, including prehospital emergency care, medical education, technology, research and support functions. Additional part-time adjunct faculty participate in curricula development and skills training. Each campus houses administrative offices, classrooms, skills practice and simulation rooms. All of our locations are connected via a video conferencing system, which allows for real-time interaction between learners and faculty specializing in a specific course area and during lectures by visiting experts. We are the leading resource for emergency medical services professionals who seek excellence in educational offerings. We strive to produce highly effective curricula and teaching resources.
