NARP seeks to partner with Nations to develop resources both on the Reservation/Reserve and in Traditional Territory. Under the NARP business model, Nations hold an equity interest in a co-partnered “Tribal Energy Company.” In addition to providing capital, NARP assists the Nations to develop capacity and skills. By switching from passive to active development, Nations are able to appropriate a larger share of value which is necessary to provide for the long-term socio-economic needs of their people. Collectively, NARP employees have over 50 years experience assisting Nations build their energy estates. NARP only invests with Aboriginal partners due to the tremendous opportunity as well as the specialized skill set required to structure transactions for the benefit of both Nations and investors.
