Founded in 2022, Natonuoret is a politically independent youth association committed to advancing open and informed dialogue on foreign and security policy issues.
The association provides a platform for young people interested in defence, security, and international cooperation to engage, learn, and influence.
Our focus areas include raising awareness of security and defence matters, encouraging critical thinking about international relations, and strengthening transatlantic cooperation among youth. Through our initiatives, we aim to foster a new generation of leaders who are informed, active, and globally minded.
Natonuoret organizes a range of activities including public statements on topical issues, events and discussions addressing current defence and security policy themes, and international seminars in collaboration with partner associations across Europe.
Our operations extend across Finland, the Nordic countries, and the Baltic states, creating a vibrant and diverse network of young people committed to constructive dialogue on security affairs.
The association is governed by a nine-member board, which ensures strategic direction, diverse perspectives, and effective leadership in all its endeavours.
