Nature Coast EMS

Nature Coast EMS is Citrus County’s exclusive, not-for-profit, Advanced Life Support 9-1-1 emergency responder and medical transportation provider. The organization was established on October 1st, 2000. We work to perform, monitor and enhance our care with the overall objective of ensuring clinical excellence. It is our county-wide, on-time response that benchmarks our excellent customer service and attentiveness. And, it is our fiscal accountability and efficiency that proves the company’s organizational effectiveness. Because we know that seconds can feel like hours during a medical emergency, Nature Coast EMS highly values its on-time response performance record. The Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) granted Nature Coast EMS, national accreditation on September 30, 2009. Nature Coast EMS, serving Citrus County for more than 9 years with high quality advanced life support ambulance service is now officially one of four ambulance providers in the state of Florida and one of less than 130 ambulance services nationwide to achieve this “gold standard” industry status.
