What started as a group of youthful environment and wildlife enthusiasts in the year 2018, turned into a proper organization with the establishment of Nature's Buddy in the year 2020. The NGO is completely dedicated to mitigating and solving various environmental and socio-economic issues. Their projects include:
1. Right of Passage: Securing elephant corridors in Rajaji National Park and providing a safe passage for Asian elephants.
2. Swacch Mero Pahaad: Cleanliness drives organized every Sunday in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. Collaboration with Break Free from Plastic under Project Brand Audit that runs for three months every year which is focused on pressurizing companies to adhere to the EPR law aimed at regulating their plastic generation.
3. Project Vriksha - Uttarakhand has lost a large portion of its green cover during the last few years due to rampant development. This is an initiative to revive the greenery of the hill state. Plant saplings of local tree species during monsoons and they are continuously monitored from the time of planting till they take root.
