NAU Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) Chapter creates an environment of student engagement and learning that serves as a platform for professional development for all students at Northern Arizona University. Students in the NAU HFTP Chapter will have the opportunity of attending the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), which is the world's largest and oldest hospitality technology event. HFTP provides scholarships for student volunteers to attend HITEC®. There, students will have networking opportunities with leading business professionals. Student membership is completely free, and through this membership members will have access to contemporary industry publications and reports. Students will have the opportunity to interact with veterans of the industry through speaking engagements. Students will also be invited to Arizona HFTP Chapter meetings and engagements. HFTP® (https://www.hftp.org/) is a global nonprofit hospitality association that creates innovative solutions to the industry’s problems. HFTP is one of the largest associations in the business and hospitality sector, and is recognized as the leading group for the finance and technology segments of the hospitality industry with members and stakeholders spanning across the globe.
