Nautec (formerly Nautic Offshore Pte Ltd) engages 40 people across Brunei, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore and Vietnam.
We develop and produce Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) products, marketed under the trade name NaX® and we offer UHPC based solutions and services for multiple industries including Offshore and Marine, Wind Energy, Civil Construction and Architecture and Well Cementing.
Our dry-mix products, of which a number carry DNVGL Type Approval Certificate, are composed of selected blends of silica sand with optimised aggregates and fillers grading, coupled with advanced nano-binder technology to produce high quality UHPC products. The compressive strength of the products ranges from 80 MPa to 210 MPa.
We manufacture NaX® products at our automated factories in Malaysia and Taiwan with packaging systems for small 25 - 50 kg bags and FIBC bulk bags of 500-1,500kg.
We operate state-of-the-art laboratory facilities equipped with state-of-the-art test equipment for testing high pressure-high temperature conditions for evaluation of our products under extreme conditions for downhole applications and we have an inhouse team of material scientists and structural engineers that design and analyse structures, in particular composite structures, where UHPC forms a structural component.
We have carried out more than 100 projects since our inception in 2011 where the manufacturing, supply and installation (grouting) of UHPC has formed an integral part of the solution.
In 2021 MBCC Group acquired Nautec Group and we have since continued to provide our NaX® UHPC Solutions to our customers from an expanded team of grouting and offshore experts as a brand of MBCC Group.
May 3rd, 2023 was the official closing date of the transaction by Sika of MBCC Group and Nautec is now part of Sika. In particular, the acquisition included Nautec Materials Sdn Bhd and our product- and services portfolio.
