NAWI Tepache

NAWI was set up to combine a love of food with the intention to help people to improve their gut (and overall) health. Science pointed us towards the power of the pineapple - both because of what it contains (high vitamin content, the enzyme bromelain) and what it can sustain (pH-resistant gut bacteria). From here, we scoured the globe to find the best pineapple preparations - and were inspired with the ancient central american ferments. We adapted our favourite using modern fermentation science, but always natural techniques, to produce a unique and beneficial brew!
