Launched in 2018, the National Center for Innovation is moving Jordan's innovation ambition forward. A strategic spin-off of the country's Higher Council for Science and Technology, its mission is to strengthen innovation ecosystem reforms and build tools and services for innovation stakeholders.
In 2020, it will operate an innovation hub and marketplace platform, the Jordan Open Innovation Platform (JOIP), to serve private and public stakeholders in Jordan and beyond. JOIP will connect hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of researchers and entrepreneurs active in R&D and science and technology.
