About Northern Centre for Mood Disorders

We are an Academic Clinical Collaboration formed to research mood disorders and mental health issues. We aim to use this research to improve clinical patient care and raise awareness of mood disorders. Currently involving the Northumberland Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust and Newcastle University, we would also like to draw in other health care providers and academic institutions for mutual benefit. This page supports these aims by providing a platform on which to publish information and articles relating to mental health issues, and through which we can engage with other professionals interested in this topic.
