NC State College Democrats

College Democrats at NC State University is the official chapter of the College Democrats of North Carolina, based in the heart of Raleigh. We’re working to get health, wealth, and justice for the people of Raleigh and empower college students to vote! Since our founding, we’ve been a driving force in organizing student power, mobilizing voters, and advancing progressive values on campus and across the state. From campaign internships and policy research to lobbying and advocacy, we give students the tools and experience to make a real political impact, right here in the capital of North Carolina. Our chapter has hosted major events, led statewide organizing initiatives, and trained student leaders who have gone on to serve in public office and party leadership. We are proud to count Governor Jim Hunt, the longest-serving governor in North Carolina history and a national leader in education policy, among our notable alumni.
