Anyone working in public health practice understands the importance of continuing education. It hones our skills, develops our competencies, and ultimately improves the health and wellbeing of the public we serve.
To meet these continuing education needs, North Dakota Public Health Training Network (NDPHTN) offers practical, practice-based content not consistently covered in traditional public health schools and programs. Our intent is to supplement, not supplant or duplicate, the current curricula offered by academic institutions. To that end, we provide training in Public Health Leadership and Management, Community Engagement and Cultural Communications, Practical Epidemiology, Immunizations Strategies, Global Health Basic Concepts, and Public Health Policy, along with special topics like Incident Command and COVID-19.
As a Certified in Public Health Continuing Education Provider approved by the National Board of Public Health Examiners, we have met the training needs of more than 47,000 students from 135 countries, providing easy access via the Public Health Foundation's TRAIN Learning Network.
