Mission:
Northeast DuPage Family and Youth Services (NEDFYS) is a community based, nonprofit organization that provides high-quality, accessible mental health and social services to underserved and diverse residents of DuPage County.
Our Services:
NEDFYS therapists provide counseling to individuals, families, couples, and groups on a variety of issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, stress reduction, trauma, and suicide. One-third of our clients require Spanish speaking counseling and case management services
NEDFYS specializes in providing crisis intervention and counseling for at-risk youth and youth involved with the juvenile justice system. We collaborate with local schools to serve students identified as having social and emotional needs that are negatively impacting their behavior.
Agency Highlights
In 2019 NEDFYS therapists served over 400 clients, closed 297 cases and provided 3563 counseling sessions. We are particularly proud to have built a full bilingual services team. Spanish speaking therapists are available at all six of our counseling locations.
