Needhelp

Our mission is to help nonprofit organizations to further their mission, recruiting and fundraising. We do this by letting everyone know where to find basic help, and showing people where they can serve. We have all run across someone who needed help, and we didn’t know what to do or who to call to help that person. In addition, there are many other people (even with high incomes) who also need help—but may not have the opportunity to ask for help. Now…imagine a "Needhelp Day." On Needhelp Day, volunteers deliver Needhelp News, door-to-door, to every single address in the community. The idea is to saturate the sponsored area with a “tidal wave” of help, at least one day per year. And because the nonprofit organizations that comprise our community resource do not change their mission, Needhelp News remains useful and effective weeks and even months after Needhelp Day. Needhelp News will accomplish two major objectives on Needhelp Day: 1) Every household and business in your community can know exactly where to find basic help. 2) One nonprofit organization will actually know what another nonprofit does, creating a matrix of multi-layered help.
