Needway

Needway is an open, community-based to-do list that empowers disillusioned citizens to find, fund and solve local problems: ranging from environmental and infrastructural concerns to transportation and housing issues. The platform aims to address challenges faced by citizens who feel unheard and powerless, disenfranchised from engaging in civic life and their local community. Community members can share problems or contribute solutions to local issues, with the ideas being evaluated and rated by other users. Crowdfunders can financially support the listed solutions to these problems based on their need weight and viability scores. This ensures that problems are well-prioritized and that funding is precisely allocated, driving tangible actions and promoting community improvement.
