The Nelson Provincial Museum is the regional museum of Nelson Tasman. The Museum is the repository of material culture and a proponent of local, distinctive intangible culture. It presents regional history, natural history, mātauranga Māori and contemporary narratives in stimulating and provocative ways.
The Museum is administered by the Tasman Bays Heritage Trust charitable trust, registered with the NZ Charities Commission.
