Nelumbo provides Engineering, Design, Development, Manufacturing, Testing & Commissioning of Power System, Controls, Protection, Automation/SCADA Systems for Power Plants & Substations. Nelumbo also undertakes EBoP packages, Rehabilitation, Retrofits & Upgrades of Hydro Power Plants and Substations. Nelumbo's Control & Relay Panel (CRP) manufacturing unit is certified to be in compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards. CRPs are type tested for IEC standards at CPRI and approved in many state utilities up to 400kV transmission systems. Nelumbo provides it's in-house developed PLC based Digital Governing & Excitation Control system for Hydro Turbines/Generators. Nelumbo is also authorized system integrator of Schneider Electric and provides Substation Automation System (SAS) with various protocols i.e. IEC61850, IEC101/103/104 etc. Nelumbo is also certified Masibus Automation Partner (MAP) and provides time synchronization solutions by using GPS clocks. Nelumbo also conducts Power System Study by using ETAP software. Nelumbo's service division undertakes various jobs related to Configuration & Testing (by secondary injection method) of Bay Control Units (BCUs) & Numerical Protection Relays by using advance testing kits e.g. Omicron, ISA etc.
