Hanging is the most fatal suicide method, where 95% of successful suicide attempts result in death, with very little intervention time of less than 10 minutes. We have built NEO, a suicide prevention fan clamp equipped with an extension spring. NEO intervenes swiftly when someone attempts suicide by hanging by lowering the fan, offering a critical lifeline in their darkest moment.
