Neos IT was started in January 2006, as a spin-off from the Laboratory of Informatics and Systems (LIS) a Division of the Pedro Nunes Institute (IPN - Association for innovation and development in sciences and technology) a not-for-profit research organization closely related with the University of Coimbra. The company’s main aims are the Analysis, Development and Implementation of Information Systems, Consulting, Auditing, specialized Training, Planning and Installation of Computer Network Infrastructures and solutions in the area of telecommunications, both for fixed as well as for mobile networks
