Nepal Tiger Trust

The Nepal Tiger Trust, also known as Nepal Tiger Conservancy in the US is a non-profit community-based organization established in 2010 with a mission to protect wild tigers forever in their natural habitats. Tigers are an endangered species and are at risk of extinction throughout their worldwide distributional range. Habitat loss, poaching, and human-tiger conflicts are some major threats. The Nepal Tiger Trust has been tackling these issues by conducting long-term tiger monitoring, collaborating with the government in anti-poaching efforts, working with local communities to reduce human-tiger conflicts, and campaigning for tiger awareness globally. In twelve years, our cooperative efforts have doubled the tiger population in 2022.
